FP Receives Financial Support

Fort Collins, CO, July 24, 2006 - Funding Partners, a Fort Collins, Colorado based not-for-profit organization would like to recognize USBank, Fannie Mae and First National Bank of Fort Collins for their continued support of Funding Partners to increase the availability of affordable housing throughout the State of Colorado.

USBank’s $5,000 grant will help Funding Partners in their process of establishing Housing Development Solutions (HDS) which will be incorporated in the state of Colorado as a not for profit, 501(c)3 entity with a mission of acquiring, rehabilitating and otherwise preserving affordable housing units designated primarily for households qualified as very low to moderate income.

Funding Partners has been a community partner of Fannie Mae and First National Bank for over 5 years.  The $8,000 and $2,500 grants, given respectively, will be used for operational support of FP.  Funding Partners is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides programs and capital to increase the availability of affordable housing to individuals and families at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).  With Fannie Mae’s and First National Bank’s continued support of FP, they will be able to better address the needs of this underserved market.

Beth Rosen, President of the Board of Trustees at Funding Partners comments that, “FP has established itself as a leader in the non-profit sector for the improvement, rehabilitation, and development of affordable housing. With the help of organizations such as USBank, Fannie Mae and First National Bank we are able to help provide Colorado ’s workforce the opportunity to own a home.  We strive to create resources to allow these underserved markets to thrive within their community.”
