Funding Partners & City of Loveland Collaborate in Deed Restriction Origination

Fort Collins, CO, April 26, 2011 � Funding Partners (FP), a non-profit Community
Development Financial Institution, has executed a service contract with the City
of Loveland to conduct the origination of all Deed Restrictions for the City�s
affordable housing programs.
�
On behalf of the City of Loveland Community Partnership Development Office, Funding
Partners provides information to families earning 80% or less of the area median
income (AMI), who are purchasing permanently affordable homes within Loveland�s
city limits. �Eligible properties are determined by the City of Loveland following
the approval of the Affordable Housing Program application submitted by the property�s
developer.

�True to our original mission of assisting in the creation and preservation of
housing targeted to low and moderate income households within Larimer County,
Funding Partners is extremely pleased to provide these services to our founding
community partner�, according to Joe Rowan, Executive Director of the organization.�
Rowan continues, �The vision within the community 15 years ago is just as relevant
today as the need for public-private partnership continues to grow.��

The City of Loveland�s Affordable Housing Program offers benefit to both the
homeowner and the homebuilder.� Local residents entering into home ownership benefit
from access to affordable home options; while the homebuilder is eligible for
fee waivers, expedited review process with the City, and allowances for modifications
to the site including landscape and setback requirements.� Funding Partners is
excited to be a part of this local partnership opportunity that incorporates public,
private and non-profit agencies working together to benefit our local community.
