January 11, 2011 - Fort Collins, Colo. � Funding Partners, a not-for-profit Community Development Financial Institution, is proud to announce their partnership with the Yampa Valley Housing Authority (YVHA), for the loan administration of the YVHA Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance program providing financial assistance through loans made to residents of Routt County.�

With home prices on the western slope priced beyond the means of the local workforce; residents are typically subject to long commutes, small living quarters and heavy competition from part-time residents for housing.� The Yampa Valley Housing Authority provides residents of the Routt County with community housing services including: Mortgage Credit Certificates, Down Payment Assistance, Energy Outreach Grants, Home Buyer�s Education, 1 on 1 Counseling, Pre-Qualification Services, and Deed Restriction Monitoring. The Down Payment & Closing Costs Assistance loan program offered in cooperation with Funding Partners provides assistance up to 5% of the purchase price or appraised property value, whichever is less, to qualified applicants employed and purchasing their primary residence within the YVHA jurisdiction.�
