U.S. Bank Grants $6,000 to Funding Partners

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (January 11, 2010) - Funding Partners, a non-profit Community
Development Financial Institution, is pleased to recognize U.S. Bank for its generous
support of affordable housing needs in Colorado.
U.S. Bank, through the U.S. Bancorp Foundation, has awarded Funding Partners
$6,000 to help offset operating expenses attributed to Funding Partners’ Residential
Purchase Assistance Programs throughout the state. U.S. Bancorp is the parent
company of
U.S. Bank. The bank has been an integral part of Funding Partners’ success, providing financial support through grants awarded to residential purchase assistance programs and equity investments providing capital to Funding Partners’ Mammel Affordable Housing Loan Fund (MAHLF).

The U.S. Bank team is proud to support Funding Partners, an organization that
provides vital assistance to people in need of affordable housing,” said Trish
Johnson, retail district manager for U.S. Bank in Fort Collins. “Our community
is stronger because of Funding Partners.”
Funding Partners provides loan servicing for over 20 organizations statewide
who offer down payment and closing cost assistance to local residents. This allows
many low to moderate income households and local workforce to afford homeownership.
Since 1999, Funding Partners’ H2O program has issued 1,147 loans to Colorado households
earning less than 80 percent of the Area Median Income; the approximate equivalent
of earning $18 per hour, or less. In addition, FP has provided loan servicing
for more than 380 loans throughout Colorado.
According to Joe Rowan, executive director of Funding Partners, “U.S. Bank has

commercial and residential lending and services to low and moderate-income households.
With a strong emphasis on building wealth through financial literacy and expansion
